The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a road closure for State Road 8 between State Road 39 and U.S. 35 beginning on or after Monday, June 8.
The road will be closed for patching, preventative maintenance and resurfacing during daylight hours. The project is expected to be completed in mid-July, 2020.
Drivers should seek an alternate route. The official detour will follow State Road 39, U.S. 30 and U.S. 35. A current road closure impacting U.S. 35 just south of U.S. 30 will be lifted prior to the road closure on State Road 8 being put in place.
