On Saturday, October 10th at approximately 7:27 P.M. the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call in reference to a crash with personal injury on Fulton County Road 550 North near CR 600 East. Upon arrival, it was discovered that it was a single vehicle crash involving an off-road vehicle (Dirt Bike).
For an unknown reason, the driver, Nathan Baldridge, age 26 of Silver Lake, lost control of the vehicle and was ejected. Life saving measures were attempted, on scene but were unsuccessful.
Due to the extent of the injuries, Nathan Baldridge, was pronounced deceased at the scene. Mr. Baldridge was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
The crash is still under investigation, it is believed at this time that alcohol may be a contributing factor. The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash with the assistance of the Fulton County Coroner Jerri Good.
Assisting at the scene were Lutheran EMS, and Mentone Fire/EMS.
