Hoosier Valley RailroadThe Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum is offering some summertime fun for the whole family on Saturday, September 5th. Ride on our open-air cars for a refreshing ten-mile, round-trip excursion. Board at the depot in North Judson, IN, and ride the rails through the rural countryside, crossing the Kankakee River before returning to the depot. Excursions depart at 10:00 AM, 12:30 PM and 2:00 PM, Central Time and are priced as follows – Adults, ages 16 and up, $12; Youth, ages 6 – 15, $10; and Children, ages 1 – 5, $6. The museum is always free.
Advance purchase is strongly suggested as walk up ticket purchase availability is not guaranteed with limited and reduced seating. Purchase tickets on-line at www.hoosiervalley.org. Or call 574-896-3950, leave a message and a volunteer will contact you. Please arrive 30 minutes before departure time with your e-ticket, printed or on your phone, ready to be scanned.
The Hoosier Valley Railroad Museum is following cleaning and disinfecting protocol based on Federal (EPA), State of Indiana, Starke County and CDC guidelines of what specific products shall be used and how to keep our visitors and volunteers safe. Patrons and museum volunteers are required to wear a mask while on the property and unable to maintain 6 foot social distancing.
Our depot, restrooms, gift shop and display cars are open to the public at this time. They are sanitized regularly. Our train cars and waiting area will be regularly sanitized for customer and volunteer safety.
No food or drinks are available. You may bring snacks and non-alcoholic canned or plastic bottled beverages.
