As Miller’s residents sat down to play BINGO on Monday afternoon they were surprised by a special quest that arrived to play BINGO with them.  In honor of Theodor Geisel’s birthday, the ever popular CAT IN THE HAT arrived to say hello, pass out goldfish crackers and pose for pictures.  You may recognize Theodor Geisel by the name; Dr. Seuss.  Dr. Seuss was born on March 2, 1904 and died on September 24, 1991.  He was a children’s author as well as a political cartoonist, animator, poet, screenwriter and more.  He wrote more than 60 books under the pen name Dr. Seuss with The Cat in the Hat being one of the most popular.  The residents enjoyed visiting with The Cat in the Hat (Becky Hooley).
