Zone logoPLYMOUTH – Most summer basketball camps around the state have been shut down due to COVID-19 but The Zone will be providing a first-class three-day offensive skills basketball camp focusing on fundamentals.

The Camp will be run by Culver Academy assistant boys basketball coach Bill Murchie, who played at Center Grove High School in Greenwood, Indiana, before playing at Wabash College.

Coach Murchie has logged thousands of hours coaching the game of basketball, helping lead Culver Academy to a state championship as well as to the state finals in recent years.

This past season he coached Indiana Mr. Basketball finalist Trey Galloway, who will play basketball at IU starting next season as well as Deontae Craig, who will be playing football in the fall at the University of Iowa.

In addition, Coach Murchie coaches travel basketball for Indiana Elite and has been involved with travel hoops for a number of years. He also has quite a bit of experience in conducting private basketball lessons and group basketball lessons through the years.

Bill Murchie’s Offensive Skills Basketball Camp will take place Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, June 22-24 at The Zone.

It is open to boys and girls in grades 3, 4, 5 and 6.

There will be a Boys Division (from 10 a.m. – noon ET) and a Girls Division (1- 3 p.m. ET).
