The Town of Culver would like to provide an update on the boil advisory. Following Thursday’s water main break and subsequent system shut-down for repairs, crews spent the weekend flushing the system. Following state drinking water guidelines, before the boil advisory can be lifted; two water samples must be taken 24 hours apart and sent to a lab to be tested for total coliform/E.coli.
Results take approximately 24 hours each. If both samples are negative, the earliest the boil advisory could be lifted is late Wednesday.
The Town of Culver appreciates your patience during this process and realizes it is inconvenient. The Town of Culver must follow the state guidelines in making sure they are providing water that is safe for consumption.
