Tuesday afternoon just before 3:30 P.M. Officer Finn with the Plymouth Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the Parkside Mini Mart located at 1717 North Michigan Street on 37 year old Jeffery S. Niedbalski of South Bend.
During the traffic stop Niedbalski was found to have an active Level 2 Felony Warrant out of Marshall County for Dealing Methamphetamine with a bond of $50,005.
While taking Mr. Niedbalski into custody he was also found to be Driving While Suspended with a Prior Charge and Possession of Stolen Property with bond being set at $505.
He was transported and lodged at the Marshall County Jail.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
