On Thursday, June 18th at 11:05 P.M. Plymouth Police Officer Arnold conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near the intersection of North Michigan Street and Skylane Avenue. The driver of the vehicle identified as 28 year old, Brandon Patrick of Lapaz. Mr. Patrick was taken into custody for Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Operating While Intoxicated on a Controlled Substance. Patrick was transported to Marshall County Jail where he was held on a $1,505 bond.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
