Arrested_handcuffOn Sunday, July 26th at 6:18 P.M. Officer Finn with the Plymouth Police Department initiated a traffic stop at Beerenbrook Street and West Jefferson Street on a vehicle driven by 24 year old, Francisco J. Salas of Plymouth. During the course of the investigation it was found that Mr. Salas was operating a vehicle without ever receiving a license and was taken into custody. Salas was transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was held on the charge of Operator Never Licensed with a Prior charge of the same offence with bond set at $505.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
