news handcuffOn Saturday, January 4th at 11:16 P.M. Officer Arnold with the Plymouth Police Department initiated a traffic stop in the area of West Harrison Street and Fifth Street. During the course of the investigation the driver identified as 32 year old, Nathaniel R. Howard of Bremen was taken into custody for Unlawful Possession or Use of a Legend Drug. The Passenger identified as 32 year old, Brandy R. Hanthorn of Plymouth was taken into custody for Invasion of Privacy. Both subjects were transported to Marshall County Jail where Mr. Howard’s bond was set at $1,505 with Brandy Hanthorn’s bond set at $505. Both subjects were released a couple days later for No Judicial Review.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
