arrested_handcuffsOn Saturday, March 14th at approximately 3:00 A.M. Officer Bennett with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of Michigan Road and 2A Road. The driver of the vehicle identified as Troy B. Wieringa of Plymouth was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance. Mr Wieringa was transported to St. Joseph Regional Hospital for a certified test and taken into custody on charges of Possession of Marijuana, Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated-Endangering a Person and Operating a Vehicle with a Controlled Substance with bond set at $1,505 bond.
