Traffic Stop Results In Rochester Mans Arrest For Active Warrant

warrant-arrestOn Sunday, June 21st at 4:54 P.M. Officer Krynock with the Plymouth Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the area of 2505 North Oak Road on the vehicle driven by 35 year old, Jerry W. Allen of Rochester. During the course of the traffic stop it was found that Mr. Allen had an active warrant for his arrest through Fulton County. He was taken in to custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was held for Fulton County.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
