Tuesday evening at approximately 5:15 P.M. Officer’s with the Plymouth Police Department responded to a two-vehicle accident on US 30. It was determined that a 2019 Kia Rio, operated by Emily Bocko of Bourbon, was stopped due to construction in the eastbound lane of US 30 east of Pioneer Drive.
A 2020 Freight liner, operated by Brent Hochstetler of Delphos, Ohio, was also in the eastbound lane of US 30 traveling at a lower speed when he looked down momentarily and did not notice that Bocko’s vehicle was stopped and was unable to stop in time to avoid the collision.
The Freight-liner went off the roadway after the collision and came to rest in the ditch along US 30.
No injuries were reported.
