Walsh and Kelly project manager notified Marshall County Highway Department Superintendent Jason Peters with the following information on the North Michigan Road Project.

Wednesday, July 29th the milling process should be completed today on the mainlines of Michigan today.
Thursday, July 30th they will be milling the approaches along with all the tee roads that tie into Michigan. They will also be starting the paving process with the base layer.
On Friday, July 31st they intend to finish up approaches if not completed and continuing the paving process of the base continuing on into Saturday, August 1st.
As it has been posted during the duration of the project Michigan Road is posted (ROAD CLOSED) with No thru traffic. The County and Contractors would greatly appreciate everyone’s cooperation to try and avoid or limit your travel on Michigan Road as much as possible. With this being a road construction site, there is a lot going on, with a lot of equipment. The less amount of traveling during construction for the project the safer the project will be.
