U.S. Representative Jackie Walorski (R-Ind.) today released the following statement on the passing of Robert C. Beutter, who was Mishawaka’s longest-serving mayor:
“Bob Beutter was one of a kind, a truly great man. He was humble, wise, and always a gentleman. Bob was a political icon who garnered respect from both parties because he served his community well and put his fellow Hoosiers first. My heart goes out to his wife May and their family at this difficult time.”
Walorski represents the 2nd Congressional District of Indiana, serving as a member of the House Ways and Means Committee.
