ArrestedOn Tuesday, June 16th at 3:29 A.M. Marshall County Dispatch received a call regarding a welfare check on a male subject in a car parked at an intersection in front of the Pilot Gas Station. When officers arrived on scene they located 58 year old, Harold L. Messner of Sumner, MI. Messner was offered standardized field sobriety testing by Officer Ayala with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department . He was then transported to the hospital where DRE (Drug Recognition Expert) Officer Smith with the Marshall County Sheriff`s Department arrived to conduct an evaluation. Harold was later booked into the Marshall County Jail and held on charges of Operating a Motor Vehicle While intoxicated-Controlled Substance, Possession of a Narcotic Drug, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Schedule I or II; Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Parphernalia.
