You will get 90 minutes of training from 6-7:30 p.m.

Basketball summer shoot out

PLYMOUTH – Make sure your girl’s high school basketball program doesn’t miss The Zone’s Girls High School Basketball Super Summer Shootout, which will take place Friday, July 24 at The Zone in Plymouth.
Currently, there are commitments from:
Knox
Mishawaka Marian
Winamac
Northridge
Portage
Wawasee
South Bend Clay
There will be 2 divisions, junior varsity, and varsity.
Teams will be guaranteed three games.
Each game will be officiated by IHSAA tournament level officials.

Volleyball to resume at the Zone
PLYMOUTH – Volleyball will resume at the Zone next week.
The next Volleyball Open Gym will be Wednesday, July 15. The next Volleyball Group Lessons will be Thursday, July 16.

Little Spikers Academy at the Zone
PLYMOUTH – The Zone’s Little Spikers Summer Volleyball Academy is a great way for girls and boys in grades 1-6 to learn the basics of the game. Players will be taught to serve, pass, set, attack, and play matches.
The Little Spikers Volleyball Academy will be under the direction of former Plymouth High School and Taylor University volleyball standout Haley Harrell and her coaching staff.
The Academy will begin Sunday, July 26, and conclude Sunday, August 30 (6 weeks0.

Registration deadline is July 15 (to guarantee a t-shirt arrives for the start of the Academy).
There will be two co-ed divisions grades 1-3 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. and grades 4-6 from 6:45-7:45 p.m.
Volley Lite and Light Touch balls will be used.
Coach Haley Harrell was a three-sport star at Plymouth (2011-15) — volleyball, basketball, and tennis).
She was the varsity starting setter on the PHS volleyball team all four years of her career en route to being named a first-team All-Northern Lakes Conference all four years.
At Taylor University, she played in 453 games and finished her career with 3,441 assists which put her as the 8th all-time assists leader in school history. Haley also surpassed the 1,000 digs club mark by finishing her career with 1,364 digs over four seasons.
In college, Haley was a three-time All-Crossroads League Team selection and CoSIDA Academic All-District Team pick. She was named the 2016 Crossroads League Setter of the Year. She was also named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) MidCentral All-Region Team in 2016 and a Google Academic All American as a senior in 2018.
