Kari Vancza released the winners of the Blueberry Festival Labor Day Parade Friday evening.

The President’s Trophy was presented to Grandma and Grandpa Built a Float, Leonard Kazmirski.  The same float was also presented with the Judges Trophy.  The Theme Award was presented to Janice Hurford of Sunny Acres. 

Auto/Truck Club:  1st Place to Hoosier Old Wheels and 2nd Place to the Michiana Corvette Club. 

Auto/Truck Individual: 1st Place Eugene Cooper and his 1055 Sunliner.  2nd Place went to Jerry Gundlach for his 1032 Golf Cart.

Commercial: 1st PlacePlymouth Jellystone Park Float and 2nd place was Sunny Acres.

Color Guard: 1st Place CGA Exhibition Drill Team and 2nd Place Boy Scouts

Horses:  1st Place Marshall County Horse Association

Misc. Motorized – 2 axels: 1st Place Indiana Racing Lions

Veterans: 1st Place Disabled American Veterans Chapter #42

Band – non high school: 1st Place JJ’s Jams

Physical Arts: 1st Place Integrity Academy of Martial Arts and 2nd Place Puebla Dancers

Tractor – Antique: 1st Place Morris Riddle on a 1950 Farmall M and Craig and Noel Hawley’s 1973 Case 870

Military: 1st Place Marine Corps League and 2nd Place Marshall County 40/8 Voiture 1511

Float: 1st Place Grandma and grandpa Built a Float and 2nd Place Marshall County 4-H Dog Club

High School Ban Awards

1st Place 60 members and up: Marching, Music, Guard, Percussion and Drum Major awarded to the John Glenn Falcon Pride Marching Band.

59 members or less:

Kari said all band trophies can be picked up now at the Blueberry Festival Office at 233 East Jefferson Street in Plymouth.  Parade 1st and 2nd Place award plaques can be picked up in the office starting on Tuesday, September 14th.
