Weather Update 1-23-21Here is the latest update from the National Weather Service in North Webster regarding the Winter Storm potential for Monday afternoon into Tuesday morning.

NO ADVISORIES, WATCHES or WARNINGS have been issued at this time.  The track of the storm system will determine the type of precipitation we will see.

Marshall County Emergency Management Director Clyde Avery askes residents to stay informed about current conditions through local news sources and the National Weather Service. If you must go out, give yourself plenty of extra time to reach your destination.  S-L-O-W down and adjust your following distance.  Clean snow from your windshield, head and taillights. Keep your gas tank at least half full.

Marshall County Emergency Management suggest puttin together an emergency vehicle kit.  Your kit should include:

oMobile phone charger

oBlankets or a sleeping bag

oFlashlight and extra batteries

oJumper cables

oTow strap

oSmall tool kit

oEmergency flares

oShovel

oSand or cat litter for traction

oWindshield scraper and brush

oHigh-calorie, non-perishable food

oFirst-aid kit

oKnife

oToilet paper

oWaterproof matches or lighter
