Drug arrestOn Thursday, March 25th at 12:51 A.M.  Deputy Anthony Styers with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was traveling south bound on US 31 near 9 A Road when he observed a potential disabled vehicle.

Deputy Styers made contact with the male driver identified as 22 year old My’kell Patton of South Bend and observed the odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle.

During the vehicle search Deputy Styers and Deputy Wozniak located marijuana and psychedelic Mushrooms in the vehicle.

Mr. Patton was taken into custody and booked into the Marshall County Jail on charge of Possession of Narcotic Drug with bond set at $1505.

Patton releases the same day after posting bond and was issued a court date at the Marshall County Superior Court ll at 8:30 a.m. on April 6th.
