Marshall County Highway Superintendent has advised that the County Highway Department is on stand by and will be monitoring the weather conditions until this evening around 9:00pm. If needed, a Skelton crew will be sent out to run mainline throughout the county.
After 9:00p.m. Marshall County Highway crews will wait until 4 a.m.(unless needed before).
Skelton Crews have already been scheduled to start at 4 a.m. Road Foreman’s will be out checking road conditions around 3:00 am to determire if a full crew is needed. If a full crew is needed all drivers will be called in to treat roadways as needed.
Based on forecast road conditions could be slick and snow covered for the morning commute.
Slow down and allow plenty of time to stop.
