The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department announced the hiring of Curtis Tempelman for the position of Patrolman. Patrolman Tempelman was sworn in on Monday, January 4th, 2021. Patrolman Tempelman is a 2016 graduate of Illiana Christian High School in Dyer, Indiana. He graduated from Indiana University Northwest in May 2020 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice.
Tempelman will have to complete a Field Training Program through the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department along with attending the Law Enforcement Academy prior to being eligible to go out on patrol
