Highlights: After a year off, the Pilgrims hit the courts once again. Plymouth’s only returning Varsity members from two years ago, Senior Miranda German and Junior Aubrey Vervynckt, scored convincing wins at the 1S and 2S positions.
Sophomores Taylor Delp and Ellie Jones, both playing in their first high school tennis match, teamed together to win in straight sets at 1D.
Senior Kaylynn Bunton played 3S tonight and battled a four-year Varsity player from John Glenn before ultimately falling in three sets. Kaylynn was a low-level JV player two years ago, but has invested a lot of time into her tennis game the last two summers. It has been fun to see her improvement this year!
The Pilgrims hit the road for four straight away matches, starting with a trip to West Lafayette tomorrow, start time 10:30 (weather permitting).
