Plymouth School Corporation logoA roofing project for the Plymouth Community Schools could begin by May following the actions of the school board on Tuesday.

Plans are to repair or renovate parts of the roofs at Plymouth High School, the Washington Discovery Academy and Menominee Elementary.

According to David Schoof, Director of Facilities, he has used various equipment to determine the needs.

The School Board approved awarding the project to CentiMark for a total of $1,153,674. The board also approved a voluntary alternative for $177,170. The alternative amount will extend the warranty from 15 years to 30 years.
