Covid 19 update_1The Indiana Department of Health announced Sunday that 1,041 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 through testing at state and private laboratories. That brings the state’s total of positive tests to 708,067.

In Marshall County four new individuals have tested positive since the last update on Saturday.  That brings the county’s total to 5,783 plus 80 individuals have been newly tested.

To date, 12,815 Hoosiers are confirmed to have died from COVID-19.  In Marshall County a total of 108 individuals have died from the coronavirus.  Our number has not increase in two weeks.

A total of 3,334,030 unique individuals have been tested in Indiana. A total of 9,445,712 tests, including repeat tests for unique individuals, have been reported to the state Department of Health since Feb. 26, 2020. In Marshall County 40 citizens were tested for COVID-19 bringing our overall total to 24,859.

As of Sunday, a total of 3,728,001 doses have been administered in Indiana. This includes 2,160,842 first doses and 1,567,159 individuals who are fully vaccinated.
