MugShot_christian sweet 4-20-21A Walkerton man was arrested Sunday, April 18th after city police were flagged down at the Economy Inn for a man that had been struck by a vehicle.

About 9:45 in the evening, Officer Finn was on routine patrol when he was flagged down for an incident in the parking lot of the Economy Inn at 2535 North Michigan Street.

After a brief investigation, the driver, 24-year-old Christian Sweet was arrested for Possession of Meth, Possession of a Syringe and Driving While Suspended with a prior charge.  He was lodged in the Marshall County Jail on a $2,500 cash bond.

 

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed.
