Saturday WInter Storm AlertThe National Weather Service in North Webster has issued a Winter Storm Watch for counties in northern Indiana beginning Saturday afternoon and remaining in effect until Sunday Afternoon.
THREAT: Heavy snow is likely with total accumulations of between 5 to 9 inches possible.

IMPACTS: Snow covered roads will lead to hazardous driving conditions Saturday evening through Sunday afternoon/evening. Hazardous driving conditions could lead to an increase in the number of slide offs and accidents.

PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS: PREPAREDNESS ACTION: Stay informed about current conditions through local news sources and the National Weather Service. If you must go out, give yourself plenty of extra time to reach your destination. S-L-O-W down and adjust your following distance. Clean snow from your windshield, head and tail lights. Keep your gas tank at least half full.
