06/29/11 The Marshall County 4-H Fair is July 10th through the 16th and Jane Yochum, Co-superintendent of the Open Class Show is urging citizens to get their exhibits ready for the fair.
There are several categories in which you can exhibit your crafts, talents, and hard work. Categories include: Children’s Corner, Christmas at the Fair, Basic Crafts, Needlecrafts, Quilts, Clothing and Sewing, Foods and Food Preservation, Plants and Flowers and Gardening.
Exhibits are to be entered on Saturday, July 9th from 8 a.m. till noon. The Marshall County Fair Open Class Exhibit Guide is available on line at www.ces.purdue.edu/Marshall.
Volunteers are also needed on Friday and Saturday in the Open Class Building. For more information call Jane Yochum at 936-5418 or the Marshall County Extension Office at 935-8545.
