09/11/13 The Marshall County Dispatch Center answered a total of 1,432 9-1-1 calls during the month of August. The Dispatch Center answered 1005 police related calls, while fire responded to 106 of the 9-1-1 calls and EMS were dispatched to 247 of the 9-1-1 calls. The remaining 74 calls to 9-1-1 for other services. The Marshall County dispatch center also answered 1221 calls for service on their non-emergency line.
During the month of August, Marshall County deputies self-initiated 582 calls including traffic stops, assisting motorists, removing debris from roadway and others.
