11/26/12 On Tuesday, November 20th at 11:43 AM Marshall County Sheriff’s Deputy Rob Hafke responded to a accident at US 31 north of 16th Road. Upon arriving on the scene Deputy Hafke was advised that 54 year old David Vitali of Georgia the driver of a 2005 Chevy Silverado did not recall what happened prior to the crash. Witnesses stated that they observed the truck going northbound on US 31 north of 16th Road when it slowly drifted into the shoulder and off the road and abruptly turning back on the road losing control and rolling several times. The driver was taken by ambulance to Memorial Hospital in South Bend.
