08/03/12 The Planting Pride in Plymouth beautification committee is pleased to announce the first week’s winners of the Home of Week and Business of the week award. The home of Mr. & Mrs. Jim Vinall was chosen as the first weeks Home of the Week and Christo’s Family Dining the first week’s winner of Business of the week.
The “Beautification Contest” is an initiative designed to improve the quality of life for residents. By encouraging and contributing to the beautification of the environment. This is an effort to promote the development of ornamental horticulture and to encourage tourism in the community.
Any home owner or business owner may nominate themselves to receive the award or you may be nominated by any other person that appreciates what you have done to beautify the community.
Nomination forms are available at the Plymouth Chamber of Commerce located on 120 N. Michigan Street or a phone nomination can be made to Betty Glaub-Gibbs at 574-936-2323.
