04/11/13 On Tuesday, April 9th at approximately 12:37 P.M. the Starke County 911 Dispatch Center received a call of a female that had jumped out of a moving vehicle on State Road 8 near County Road 600 East, just east of Knox.
Arriving at the scene officer’s located 23 year old, Alicia Husband of Knox. Husband was transported to I.U. Starke Hospital and later airlifted to Memorial Hospital in South Bend. She is currently listed in critical condition. The Starke County Sheriff’s Department was assisted by Knox Police and Starke County EMS.
There is an ongoing investigation although foul play is not suspected in this incident.
