ann08/11/11 Annie Keller, a 2 year member of the Green Acres 4-H club danced at the Indiana State Fair on August 5th. Annie had won the local Share-The-Fun contest back in April with a tap dance number to Good Morning from “Singing in the Rain”. She went on to receive 1st place at the Area 10 Share-The-Fun contest in May. She performed the tap number at 4-H Round-Up earlier this summer at Purdue University. She was then invited to perform at the State Fair.
The Share-The-Fun contest was developed to provide an opportunity for youth to perform for an audience where the performer and audience both have fun, to help youth identify talents that they may choose to develop, to share 4-H with others in the community and to help youth and adults learn to work as team members for a coordinated activity.
