3 Arrested during Probation Home Checks

  Plymouth-The Indiana State Police were assisting the Marshall County Probation Department with home visits. They arrived at 701 N. 7th Street in Plymouth to complete a check on Melinda Chmielewski.  Upon further investigation methamphetamines along with pills were located.   Anthony Long, a Marshall County probationer was located hiding in the bathroom.

The Plymouth Police Department arrived and assisted at the scene.  Both subjects were transported to the Marshall County Jail and charged with Possession of methamphetamines, possession of controlled substance, visiting a common nuisance, maintaining a common nuisance and probation violation. 

It was found the residence was located within 1000 feet of a public park, which would enhance the violation.  All information is being forwarded to the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office for review.

 

The Indiana State Police continued to assist the Marshall County Probation Department with home visits.  They arrived at 1420 W. Madison Street Apt. 4 to check on Gorge Mata.  Upon further marijuana, scales, and methamphetamines were located.  Gorge Mata was arrested and transported to the Marshall County Jail.  Mr. Mata was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, probation violation and possession of methamphetamines.  It was found the residence is within 1000 feet of a public park, which would enhance the charges.  All information is being forwarded to the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office for review.
