Argos 4th-A-Bration this Saturday

  06/27/13 The Town of Argos will be holding their Argos 4th-A-Bration celebration kicking off the July 4th holiday this Saturday, June 29th. 

A day full of fun events will be taking place at the Argos Community Park beginning with a 5K and 3K Walk starting at 7:30 A.M.  At 10:30 the 4th-A-Bration Parade steps off from the Argos Community School and winds down Michigan Street.

 

The Garden Tractor Pull will be held at the Fairgrounds at 12 P.M.(noon).  Activities at the Park include a Balloon Toss at noon, Sawdust Hunt at 1 p.m., Free Throw Contest at 1:30, Pedal Tractor Pull at 2, Argos Futbol Club PK Shootout at 2:30 and the Argos Fire Department Extraction Demo at 3:00 P.M. Other activities at the park include the Abate mini bike experience, bounce house, antique tractor display; the Plymouth Fire Department Smoke House and the National Wild Turkey Federation will have a booth.  The Argos 4th-A-Bration also will have food and concessions available. 

 

Round up the evening at 7:00 P.M. a concert featuring the Whitewall Gentlemen from Nashville, Tennessee with guest Justin Hall and featured 2009 Argos graduate Mackenzie Williams will accompany them as their drummer.
