Mustang Leaves Roadway, Hits Tree

July 1, 2012

07/02/12 Thursday evening at 8:24 units from the Plymouth Police Department and Fire Department were dispatched to the area of Baker and Randolph Street near the Yellow River Bridge.

Officer Jesse Pippinger arrived on scene and found a red convertible mustang that had left the roadway on the south side of Baker Street just east of the bridge.   The driven, 17 year old Armando Diaz of Plymouth told the officer he lost control of his vehicle causing it to leave the road way, drove down the embankment and hit a tree.

Diaz and his unnamed passenger were not injured in the crash.
