City Meetings are Scheduled for Monday Evening

Members of the Plymouth Board of Public Works and Safety and City Council will meet Monday evening in separate meetings.

The Board of Public Works and Safety meeting begins at 6 p.m. with reports from various department heads.  Police Chief Jim Cox will seek approval to begin the hiring process for a new officer while City Engineer Rick Gaul will discuss work in the right-of-way at Michigan and Jefferson Streets for soil borings.

City Attorney Nelson Chipman will present a resolution creating construction standards for the design and details of water projects.  He will also present a resolution for the setting of Halloween Trick-or-Treat hours for 2010. 

The Common Council will meeting is set to begin at 6:30 p.m.  Council members will review the ordinance setting the paid holidays for 2011 on second and third reading. 

The City Attorney will present a resolution providing for the transfer of appropriations in the general fund for the city for the Building Commission Department and in the Aviation Department Fund as requested by the Board of Aviation Commissioners.
