City Police Seek Info on Subjects that Shattered Backboards at St. Michael’s School

June 28, 2011

06/29/11 Investigator Ted Brown with the Plymouth Police Department is investigating three criminal mischief reports from St. Michaels School.

There have been three occasions where unknown individuals have done damage to the glass basketball goals in the playground at the school.  In August 2010, and twice in June of this year the backboards have been shattered by someone throwing a hard object at them.

On June 5th an individual called the police department and reported that two juveniles were throwing rocks and had shattered the backboard to the west.  Those two suspects left prior to police arriving.

Last Friday, June 24th at approximately 5 p.m. a witness saw that the backboard was fine.  At 8 p.m. the backboard to the north was found to be damages.

The Plymouth Police Department is asking anyone with information to contact the police department with their information. (936-2126)
