September 9, 2010

National Ballroom week is September 18th to the 25th and the LifePlex Dance Academy will celebrate in a big way.  They have set many dance activities as a way to promote the many benefits of ballroom dancing.  Some of the benefits include: fun and exercise, achieve balance and coordination, introduction of social manners to youth, allow people to express themselves artistically, and it’s a wonderful way to socialize and meet new people.

Activities begin next Saturday, September 18th with the “Fall in Love with Dance” event.  From 4 to 5:30 there is an Argentine Tango Dance Workshop followed by a dinner buffer, Social Cha Cha Mixer and a dance party.

On Monday, September 20th from 5 to 7 “Fall into Zumba Rumba,” Tuesday it’s” Fall into the 50’s Dance” and on Wednesday “Grandparent and Me.”  The dancing continues on Thursday with “Back to School Salsa Bash and on Saturday, September 25th the LifePlex Dancers will perform at the Farmers’ Market at 9 a.m. and from 6 to 11 they’ll host the Palais Royale Ballroom, “Roaring 20’s Dinner and Dance.”
