10/25/13 Marshall County will be hosting Beacon Day on Wednesday, October 30, in the Marshall County Building room 203. Beacon™ Day will present to users the new functionality and latest upgrades to the system. Marshall County, utilizes The Schneider Corporation’s Beacon™ product as their interactive public access tool that allows users to interact and view County information, public records and Geographic Information Systems online. Administrative presentations (for governmental agencies) are at 9:00 am and 1:30 pm. Public presentations will be at 11:00 am and 4:00 pm. Presentations last approximately 1 hour.
New functionality include: the capability to pay your taxes from the Beacon website; release of 2013 Pictometry photography which includes new oblique images, tools for the imagery; additional items to the property report and more. Please plan to attend a presentation time that best fits your schedule. There will be a representative from Schneider and Pictometry to help answer any questions.
