10/14/13 On Wednesday afternoon October 9th Marshall County Sheriff’s Deputy Joseph Giordano responded to Linden Road and US 6 after the County Dispatch Center received a complaint of a suspicious vehicle. Arriving in the area, Deputy Giordano located a vehicle matching the concerned citizen’s description. Contact with the driver, 36 year old Billy Ottinger of Culver was made. He told the officer they had run out of gas. As the conversation continued consent was given for officers to search the vehicle. The search of the vehicle revealed several precursors associated with manufacturing methamphetamine.
After further investigation and the assistance of the Indiana State Police Billy Ottinger and the passenger in his vehicle, 57 year old Kay Fisher also of Culver were taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail. They were booked in on a charge of Dealing and or Manufacturing Methamphetamine and held without bonds.
