06/10/13 The Marshall County Blueberry Pageant Committee is pleased to announce this year’s theme for the 2013 Miss Blueberry Scholarship Pageant, which will be held on June29th at Argos High School, is “A Celebration of Laughter”. There are 15 young women between the ages of 17 and 21 (21st birthday must fall before June 12, 2013) from Marshall County vying for the title. For the first time, a set of “twins” will be contestants for the crown.
The winner will receive her Crown, a Crystal Bowl, a $1250.00 Scholarship, and a Blueberry Necklace from the 2012 Miss Blueberry Brianna Trappe of Plymouth. The new queen will have a busy schedule filled with parades, appearances and reigning over the 47th Annual M C Blueberry Festival.
Doors open at 6:30 pm with the Pageant starting at 7:00 pm. The public is invited to attend. Tickets are $5.00.
