11/09/12 Residents in Culver experienced no water Thursday evening about 5 p.m. due to a water main leak. Culver utilities turned off the water for several hours to make the necessary repairs with employees working diligently. It was just before midnight when they go the water running again.
Because of the reduced water pressure it is now necessary for citizens to boil their water for the next couple of days. It is recommended that all cooking and drinking water be brought to a complete boil for five (5) minutes before using. Please continue to boil all cooking and drinking water until you are notified that it is no longer necessary. In order to cancel this order, water samples taken on two successive days must be tested and meet all drinking water standards.
