01/11/12 On Monday, January 9th around 9:00pm, the Marshall County Police Department received a call from the Bottle Stop Liquor Store located at 105 North Michigan Street in LaPaz reporting that they were just robbed.
An unknown assailant armed with a knife entered the store and demanded cash from the register. The employee was cut on the finger with the suspect’s knife.
Officers from the Marshall County Police Department were on the scene in about one minute from the call.
The suspect reportedly ran out the front door and went towards the alley. The employee’s description of the suspect said he was wearing a white or light colored ski mask with blue on the very top and a white long underwear long sleeve and gloves.
An undetermined amount of cash was taken from the cash register. If anyone has any information on this case or any other is asked to contact the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department at 574-936-3187.
