Bremen Singers Entertain at Miller’s

October 3, 2012

10/04/12 The Bremen Singers entertained at Miller’s Senior Living Community on Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 2.  Fifteen singers arrived at Miller’s for the 2:00 p.m. concert.  Dressed in their familiar red, white and blue the group took the Miller’s residents down memory lane with a concert of tunes based on the fall season.  Joining them in their concert was resident LaVanch Yarian who has been a member of the Bremen Singes for many years.  The senior citizen choir opened their concert with the familiar song “Smile”.  They went on to sing “autumn Leaves”, “September Song”, “Blue Skies”, “Light of the Silvery Moon”, “Moonlight and Roses”, and many more fun, nostalgic tunes. They ended their program with several gospel hymns and the great patriotic tune “God Bless America”.
