County Police Searching for Brian Tapia in Stabbing Incident

  02/04/13 Just before 8 p.m. Friday night the Marshall County Police were called to emergency room at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center in Plymouth for a stabbing victim.

Officer Jeff Snyder responded and began an investigation.  A male subject, Aaron Fear was in the ER with a knife wound to the stomach.  During the investigation it was determined that the altercation had taken place at a residence in the 19,000 block of Lincoln Highway, west of Plymouth.  During the altercation Fear was stabbed in the abdomen one time.

Mr. Fear was transported to Memorial Hospital in South Bend due to the nature of his injury.  He was listed in stable condition on Saturday.

County Police are searching for the suspect involved, Brian Tapia of Plymouth. Tapia had left the residence prior to police arriving.  Anyone with information on where Brian Tapia may be should call the Marshall County Police Department.  (936-3187)
