11/02/12 The Danielson Family is pleased to announce that Caryn E. Escher has joined the staff of Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home and will be assuming a funeral director’s position.
Caryn is the daughter of Tony and Sue Escher, and a native of Mishawaka, Indiana, where she graduated from Mishawaka High School in 2005. After attending Indiana University – South Bend, Caryn moved to Chicago. There she worked for Smith-Corcoran Funeral Homes while attending Worsham College of Mortuary Science in Wheeling, Illinois. After graduation in September of 2011, Caryn moved to Yankton, South Dakota to serve her apprenticeship at Opsahl-Kostel Funeral Home & Crematory.
Upon attaining her license to practice funeral service in South Dakota, she gained the opportunity to move back, being closer to family and friends. She is honored to serve the families in her hometown area and is eager to become involved in the Marshall County Community.
In her free time, Caryn loves being with her family, attending Notre Dame Football games and collecting die-cast model cars.
