Plymouth Officer Cleveland Arrests 2

Handcuffs-new12/16/14 At 1:33 A.M. on Sunday, December 14th Sergeant Gary Cleveland with the Plymouth Police Department initiated a traffic stop at Jefferson and 3rd Streets on 26 year old Cassie L. Sherwood of Plymouth. The traffic stop was for failure to utilize headlights after dark. During the course of the investigation Sherwood was found to be intoxicated and was taken into custody. She was lodged at the Marshall County Jail and held on a $1,505 bond.

At approximately 4:00 A.M. Saturday, Sergeant Cleveland conducted a traffic stop on North Michigan Street at 7B Road on 23 year old Leonor M. Grimaldo of LaPorte for having his music to loud. During the traffic stop it was found that Mr. Grimaldo was operating without having ever receiving a valid license. During the impound inventory a counterfeit Indiana Driver’s License was recovered from the vehicle. He was transported and lodged at the Marshall County Jail and held on a $1,505 bond. He was released later on Sunday after posting bond and was issued a December 30th Superior Court II date for his initial hearing.
