Vonnegut Traveling Exhibit at Center for Culver History

  06/26/13 Gregory Waksmulski, Director of the Center for Culver History is proud to announce the “Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. and the Vonneguts of the East Shore” exhibit at the museum located at 107 North Main Street.

  “The museum will host the Kurt Vonnegut Memorial Library’s traveling exhibit from the end of June through the end of July.  Running along with it is an exhibit curated by the museum, focusing on the four generations of Vonneguts who built, worked and played on the east shore of Lake Maxinkuckee.

  Inspiring to young and old alike, the exhibit is proof that our area produces world-class cultural figures and thinkers!  The exhibits are free and open to the public, although donations are accepted.  

  The Center for Culver History is open from noon to 6 p.m., Tuesdays through Fridays, and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  For more information check out their website at http://culverahs.com, or follow like them on facebook or twitter @culverahs.
