Centier Bank to Close Downtown Branch

May 30, 2012

05/31/12 Come December downtown Plymouth will have another empty store front.  Earlier this month Centier Bank sent letters to their customers letting them know of their decision to close the downtown branch.  Centier assures their customers that they will continue to offer full service banking at the larger branch at the corner of Oak Drive and Jefferson Street.

Centier opened their downtown offices in 2004 with a goal to grow with the expanding needs of the Plymouth community which they did opening their second banking center in 2005.  For the past 6 years they have been the only bank in Plymouth with two branches.  Evaluating the community and their options for serving Plymouth, they felt that the most logical decision was to close the branch that not only has limited access, but was also the smaller of the two branches.

Center Bank’s last day of business at the Plymouth downtown location will be Friday, December 21st.
